Free practice

Try 20 free NCLEX-RN practice questions.

Work through four public five-question sets covering pharmacology, prioritization, dosage calculations, and an NGN bow-tie item. No account or credit card is required to read the questions, answers, and rationales.

Educational boundary: These 20 items are original educational examples. They are not live, recalled, or reproduced NCLEX questions, and a result here cannot predict or guarantee an exam outcome.

Choose a five-question set

Pharmacology practice

Five medication-focused questions with the answer and rationale shown after each prompt.

NGN bow-tie practice

Five bow-tie examples that ask you to connect a likely condition, actions, and monitoring parameters.

Each linked set publishes its authoritative sources, content digest, named reviewer, and exact RN-review status.

Use the free practice as a study loop

  1. Commit to an answer before opening the rationale.
  2. Identify whether a miss came from knowledge, calculation, prioritization, or reading the item format.
  3. Read the cited support on the question set when a rationale is unfamiliar.
  4. Return to the related 2026 NCLEX-RN test-plan guide or clinical-judgment guide before another practice round.

What this free test does—and does not—show

The hub gives you a no-sign-in sample of PulseRN's question-and-rationale approach. Twenty questions are too few to measure NCLEX readiness, and the set is not a simulated adaptive exam. Read the methodology for how PulseRN describes adaptive practice and readiness estimates, the editorial policy for review safeguards, or pricing for current access options.
